Hurghada, Egypt is a city located in eastern Egypt on the coast of the Red Sea. It was a small fishing village for many years, and has only recently come to the attention of travelers.

Hurghada can be divided in the different districts. El Dahar, which is the oldest part of the city, is the downtown region.
