Virgin Racing – Another Formula One Racing Team

Virgin Racing or more known simply as Virgin is one of the famous Formula One racing teams. It has just made its debut in Formula One in 2010 season but so far is already one of the much talked about racing teams as far as Formula One is concerned.
In 2009, Virgin was one of the four new teams reported to be ready to race in the 2010 season. And then in 2010, in the highest class of auto racing, the team made its debut.
And right now, a lot of Formula One fans are expecting that Virgin will become a successful Formula One team. They are expecting that the racing team will make the most out of the chance to be able to contend in popular auto racing event. However, the team was reported recently to be in trouble because flight delays caused by Icelandic volcano delayed Virgin’s preparations for Spain. The team was reported to be having a hard time working on the new cars that should have large fuel tanks.
John Booth was indeed interviewed after the team hitting the headlines and just confirmed that the team eventually faced some problems because of the flight delays. Booth said that it took up to five days for the entire team to be back in England after the Chinese Grand Prix. Supposedly, they would have a three-week break after the Chinese event but then due to the flight delays some of the team members were not able to arrive in England on time.
The team missed the chance to work on new cars for Spain event. It was unfortunate but then it happened. But the members of the team for sure have already accepted it and certainly are now thinking to go on and be a successful Formula One team.
